My parents have been married for more than 38 years, but my mom isn't the only woman in my dad's life. He's had plenty of flings on the side, including the one with "12-Horse", this 1958 Chris Craft Capri that he spent months restoring and finally entered in a boat show last month. He won top prize for best in class. As my pops himself would say....good show! Next up? A 1940 pre-war runabout that's a bit tiny at just 15 1/2 feet, but oh-so-cute. I imagine she'll be sticking around for awhile....at least until she gets a few dozen more coats of varnish on her.

You can imagine my husband's reaction: "Wow, nice boat. He sucks. So not fair."
Jealousy is the finest form of flattery.
Way to go, Mr. C!
Amazing. Really beautiful. Congrats Mr. Conolly! I bet it looks even better in person, from the dock, beer in hand....=)
That would be great.
WOW! Obviously there is more to the "hobby" than just parking boats in the garage! Great job, Mr. Connolly! Sheila - send me some pics - Tricia's dad would love to see them as he had a wooden boat like that even before he had a car!
